Ensuring Quality That Speaks
Through Every Tile

At AQS, Porcelain Pavers undergo rigorous testing — from raw materials to final finish.
Our quality control process ensures your walls reflect not just beauty, but trust

Porcelain Pavers

Porcelain Pavers are robust, 20mm thick tiles engineered for heavy-duty outdoor applications such as garden paths, driveways, terraces, and pool decks. Designed to withstand high loads and harsh weather, these tiles feature slip-resistant surfaces and exceptional durability, making them a reliable alternative to natural stone, wood, or concrete.

At AQS, we implement comprehensive inspection protocols for porcelain pavers, focusing on structural integrity, surface finish, and slip resistance. Our meticulous checks ensure that every paver meets stringent technical and mechanical standards, delivering premium, export-ready products for demanding outdoor settings.

AQS Inspection Process for
Porcelain Pavers

We apply specialized inspection protocols for 20mm thick porcelain pavers, focusing on load-bearing strength, slip resistance, and dimensional accuracy. Our rigorous checks ensure each paver is structurally robust, visually consistent, and ready for high-performance outdoor use.

Factory Visit & Quantity Confirmation

We begin by verifying the total produced quantity against the client’s purchase order. We also check batch organization based on:

  • Size (e.g., 600x600mm, 600x900mm)
  • Finish (stone-look, matte, textured)
  • Thickness (typically 20mm or as specified)

01

Warehouse Stock
Condition Check

Our inspector verifies:

  • Safe and even stacking of heavy boxes
  • Pallet wrapping and storage conditions
  • Batch/shade stickers and identification

02

Random Sampling –
AQL Method

Boxes are selected from different pallets and levels using AQL-based random sampling to ensure inspection coverage across the entire production.

03

Box Weight
Verification

Due to the heavier nature of pavers, we:

  • Weigh boxes using industrial-grade digital scales
  • Ensure correct piece count
  • Check for overfilled or under-packed boxes
  • Detect moisture-related weight inconsistencies

04

Transfer to
QC Zone

Selected boxes are moved to a clean, level surface in the factory’s QC area for full visual and technical assessment.

05

External Box &
Labeling Check

We verify that each box is correctly labeled with:

  • Product code and size
  • Factory logo or private label branding
  • Batch/shade number
  • Manufacturing date

This helps prevent errors during dispatch or client warehousing.

06

Internal Packaging
Quality Inspection

We inspect:

  • Use of foam spacers or separators (to avoid edge damage)
  • Proper alignment of 20mm tiles inside boxes
  • Box strength and corner integrity (especially for heavy pavers)

07

Tile Laying & Visual
Surface Inspection

Tiles are laid out to simulate real usage (e.g., garden or patio flooring). We inspect:

  • Surface uniformity (texture, tone, anti-slip finish)
  • Defects like air bubbles, chips, corner damage, or sharp edges
  • Design consistency (stone, wood, or concrete finish alignment)
  • Edge finish — especially for rectified pavers

This step ensures that all visual elements perform well when installed side-by-side.

08

Master Sample
Comparison (if applicable)

If the client has provided a reference sample, we compare:

  • Color tone
  • Surface texture and finish
  • Edge and thickness details
  • Anti-slip coating consistency

09

Technical Testing & ISO-Based
Performance Checks

Using multiple-point measurements, we check:

  • Size, Thickness & Diagonal Accuracy (ISO 10545-2)
  • Flatness & Warpage (ISO 10545-2)
  • Water Absorption (ISO 10545-3)
  • Breaking Strength & Load-Bearing Capacity (ISO 10545-4)
  • Deep Abrasion Resistance (ISO 10545-6)
  • Anti-Slip Resistance (DIN 51130 / R Rating)
  • Scratch & Impact Resistance (Mohs & Drop Test)

10

Final Reporting &
Quality Confirmation

Our final report includes:

  • Dimensional test results
  • Mechanical performance metrics
  • Surface defect photos
  • Packaging assessment
  • Inspector’s comments and final verdict

The report is shared within 24 hours, enabling clients to approve or take action promptly.
