AQL Sampling Method

What is AQL?

AQL stands for Acceptable Quality Limit — it’s the international method used to determine how many boxes we should randomly inspect from a production lot.

Why AQL Matters:

  • Prevents selective or biased box selection
  • Gives a fair, statistical representation of the batch
  • Helps catch hidden defects before shipment
  • Trusted by global importers and inspection agencies

How AQS Uses It:

Total Production Qty Sampled Boxes (Approx.) Inspection Level
500 – 800 boxes 8 – 10 boxes General Level II
1000 – 1500 boxes 10 – 15 boxes General Level II
1500+ boxes 15 – 200 boxes General Level II

We inspect each sampled box for:

  • Weight accuracy
  • Packaging quality
  • Random box opening
  • Laying tiles for surface inspection
  • Technical tests (size, thickness, absorption, etc.)

At AQS, our inspection is never guesswork — it’s a scientific sampling process backed by global standards.
